Watercolor Small Red-Eyed Tree Frog by Jan HowlettHi All Artists Hearts,
Well we are now at Stage 5 of Harmonizing Down by The Pond.  Today we are focusing on 2 sections:The smaller of the 2 Red-Eyed Tree Frogs in this painting. as well as the Garden Green Frog.(See photo above.)

This little fellow is perched on the surface of a frond growing in the pond. He is not yet full grown and is captivated by his new friends nearby.  He is also surrounded by other plant life affording him some much needed shade and protection.

Young frogs are typically brown in color and turn greener as they mature, although adult frogs can change their color slightly depending on mood and environment.

Until next time,
Happy painting and stay inspired.
Blessings, Jan.
